Who's ready for another Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge?

Put your thinking caps on because you're going to need it for this sketch.

Korin Sutherland threw me for a loop when she created this sketch for us this week. It's totally different than anything I have ever seen here on this sketch blog. I was stumped for quite a while. But, hey! A challenge should be just that......a challenge!

Here's the sketch:

I was sifting through my stamps looking for something to jump out at me and then I came across one of my newest stamp sets called Puppy Love by There She Goes Clear Stamps.

PERFECT!

Cute, right?! I stamped the image, colored it with copics and cut it out with a nesties. I left the image in the nesties and sponged some SU crumb cake ink around it. I used a scalloped circles nesties and some PTI dark chocolate CS to mat the image. I adhered the image with foam adhesive. I chose some DSP from the Echo Park Dots and Stripes Soda Fountain 6x6 paper pad. I stamped the sentiment and paw prints from the Puppy Love stamp set in Momento rich cocoa ink. I matted this with white CS and then mounted it onto a PTI dark chocolate card base.

I decided to color up this Krista Smith's adorable image from the Saturated Canary called Ice Cream and Pickles. I colored her with copics and forgot to keep aside all the copics so I don't have a list or pic to show you. Sorry about that! I stamped the PTI kraft CS base using PTI fresh snow ink and the SU polka dot background stamp. I added some DSP from the My Mind's Eye Dwell 6x6 paper pad and some primrose vinatge seam binding. I matted it with PTI dark chocolate CS and again with more DSP from the MME Dwell paper pad.

I've had enough of winter and I'd like to fast forward to spring to get back to summer so I decided to use this cute "Rhubarb Enjoys the Pool" digi stamp to play along this week.

The Paper Shelter Challenge

Have you checked out the Paper Shelter lately?! There are so many adorable images that have been added recently! Why not play along with us for The Paper Shelter Challenge #52? All you need to do is add a sentiment for the week's challenge. Easy peasy!

I decided to color up one of the newest images called Retro Space Girl.

I colored her with copics and added some shimmer to the gold parts of the image with a clear star gelly roll pen. I ran the PTI raspberry fizz panel through the Big Shot with a Sizzex birthday stars embossing plate. I used some DSP from the Echo Park Yours Truly paper pad. I popped up the smaller stars with some foam dimensionals.

I had the honor of being invited to PJ crop in Seattle this weekend hosted by Jessica Knutson, owner of There She Goes Clear Stamps. Corinna McGregor, owner of the Ribbon Carousel, organized this crafting bonanza and we had a blast! I slept no more than 13 hours in 3 nights while there because we were crafting up a storm and laughing our butts off!

Now cut us some slack because PJ's and make up free faces were mandatory!

TSG Ba Donkey Donk Blog Hop

I spent this past weekend with a bunch of amazingly talented stampers for a crop (AKA 3 day party). Planes, trains and automobiles brought us all together from all over the United States and Canada and Jessica Knutson and her cutie patootie husband were our gracious hosts. We had a BLAST! I think I slept no more than 13 ours in the 3 nights I was out there and we crafted and laughed up a storm all day and all night!

"Donkey" is a term of endearment in my book and I use it often. It was apparently catchy. If I had a dollar for every time I read the word donkey in our cyber chats over the past several months, I'd would be one very wealthy donkey! Jessica surprised this group of stampers by having a special stamp set designed by one of my favorite illustrators and friend Melyssa Connolly!

There She Goes new stamp set is called Ba Donkey Donk, and for all you snarky, tongue in cheek stampers out there, THIS is the set for you!! With three different styles of donkey's, and 9 AMAZING sentiments to go with it...really, there ISN'T an occasion you can use these for!!

Ba Donkey Donk is a 4x6 stamp set of 12 stamps that will sell for $15!

I colored that funny little donkey with copics and cut him out and matted him with nesties. I used some DSP from the We R Memory Keepers Autumn Splendor 6x6 aper pad and paired it with some PTI dark chocolate and orange zest CS. Did you notice my custom donkey watermark that Kim Teasdale made for me?!!?! One of pearls is rolling around in my suit case. There were three there when I packed up to go home.

This card was featured on the Splitcoast Stampers Facebook page today!

That is just the icing on the cake after a fun filled weekend with those crafty donkeys!

Guest Designing for All That Scraps

I have the honor of being the January / February guest designer for All that Scraps! Today I get to show you a couple of cards I have made with a couple of the new C.C. Designs images from the February release!

First up is a card I made using the Swiss Pixie Woodland Lucy rubber stamp:

I started with a PTI spring rain CS base. I used nestabilities to cut a circle in the PTI kraft CS panel and then used the nesties again to make the PTI white ring around that. I stamped the kraft panel in PTI fresh snow ink with a SU polka dot background stamp. I adhered that panel with foam dimensionals. I used a die from the Sweet 'N Sassy heart die set to cut the heart using DSP from the MME Love Me 6x6 paper pad. I also used the PTI double ended banner die and added some faux stitching with a white gel pen. I added a PTI pure poppy button and some natural jute. I colored Lucy up with copics, cut her out, and popped her up with foam dimensionals.

Next up is a card I made using the Swiss Pixie Woodland Daisy rubber stamp:

I stamped the image on PTI vintage cream CS with Momento tuxedo black ink and colored it with copics. That pretty sentiment is by A Muse Art Stamps. I paired is with some DSP from the My Mind's Eye Dwell 6x6 paper pad and some PTI kraft, harvest gold, and orange zest CS. I added a PTI harvest gold button and some brown jute.

Happy Saturday! Hopefully you are still in your PJ's and have time to do a little crafting to play along with us for the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! I loved this week's sketch! Think I will be using this one again!

I decided to color up this cute image by the Paper Shelter called Teddy Bear with Flower.

Pin ItI colored the image with the following copics:

leaves and grass - YG97, YG95, and YG93

sky - B0000

I used PTI white, kraft, and dark chocolate CS and some DSP from the PTI distressed dots paper pad. I used my nestabilities circles and scalloped circle dies. I added some PTI dark chocolate twill ribbon.

ISSC03 - Put your big girl thongs on

Happy Friday! It's time for another iSpy Sketches challenge! I have to say.......these sketch challenges are NOT your run of the mill sketches! This is our 3rd week and I have actually FELT challenged by each one so far! These sketches are definitely taking me outside my comfort zone and making me think out of the box. That's exactly what a challenge SHOULD do!

This week's sketch is based on Sean Fetterman's gorgeous card:

Jessica Knutson, owner of There She Goes Clear Stamps, recently sent me a little gift. It was the "Get Your Thong On" stamp set. Very cheeky and right up my alley! I thought it was perfect fit for this sketch challenge!

I started with a PTI hawaiian shore CS base. I used my nesties to cut out the circle from some DSP from the My Mind's Eye Everyday Flair a scalloped layer from PTI raspberry fizz. I stamped the sentiment in Momento tuxedo black. I colored the flip flops with copics, cut them out, and popped them up with foam dimentionals. I added some faux stitching with a black pen. I used some pink sorbet baker's twine for my banner. I stamped the flip flops a few more times and then cut out and colored the little flwoers for the centers of my banner flags. I added some yellow stickles to centers of all of the flowers and added then finished with the 3 white pearls.

SNSDC41 - Beary Happy Birthday

Happy Friday! It's time for another Sweet 'N Sassy digi challenge and this time we have a phot inspiration challenge for you. Here's the photo:

I combined this challenge with Jen Del Muro's Sketch for You to Try and posted this card last week so it it, you can see it now!

I printed this Sweet 'N Sassy Rhubarb's Cupcake digital image and cut him out with a nesties circle. I left the image in the nesties and sponged some A Muse Studios blush ink around the image. I colored the image with copics (E59. E57, E37, E35, E34, E33, E31, E30, R30, R20) and added some glitter to the frosting on the cupcake. I used PTI white, sweet blush, and dark chocolate CS. I added some PTI dark chocolate buttons and some cotton candy Divine Twine.

Easter Sweetness

Have you seen the newest release of Whimsie Doodles images? Melyssa Connolly never ceases to amaze me. She whipped up another batch of cuteness ever month! Today I wanted to show off one of the new Easter images called Easter Lizzie.

Love her! I cut the digi out with an oval nesties and left it in the nesties so I could sponge some A Muse Studios blush inkaround her. I colored her with copics and popped her up with foam dimensionals before adhering her to some DSP from the MME Dwell 6x6 paper pad. I layered a piece of DSP from the PTI polka dot parade paper pad over a white CS base and added some vintage seam binding.

Here are the copics I used:

Skin - E11, E00, E000 and R20 and R30 for cheeks

Hair - E37, E35, E53

Dress - R01, R02, R05

Sweater and boots - C01, C00

I don;t remember which ones I used on the basic. I was too fast at cleaning up after myself!

I used this oh-s-sweet image from the Craft's Meow Happy Owlentine's Day stamp set. I colored the image with copics, cut itout and adhered it to the oval. I did some faux stitching with a white gel pen. I did the same on the the other black panel and added some 5/8" red cotton twill ribbon. I can't remember from which 6x6 paper pad that DSP came from, but the CS is PTI white, black, and pure poppy.

Paper and Such Challenge

It's time for another Paper and Such Challenge and given that we are celebrating Valentine's Day today, the theme is "Anything Lovey." I'm glad the day is finally here because I am sort of getting sick of making Valentine's at this point and I am ready to move on to St. Patty's Day, Easter, and SPRING images!

I couldn't bear to make another traditional Valentine's Day card so I decide to make a "lovey" card for a friend.

I based my card around this pretty little sentiment from the Paper and Such Poppies stamp set. I stamped the sentiment in A Muse Studios french roast ink onto PTI vintage cream CS, cut it out with a circle nesties, sponged some A Muse Studios latte ink around the edges, and used a SU chocolate chip marker to add some faux stitching. The card base is PTI vintage cream and the DSP is from Webster's Pages Trendsetter/ Ladies and Gents paper pad. I used the SU little leaves sizzlet with PTI simply chartreuse CS and then created the roses with the MFT Die-Namics mini rolled roses from PTI melon berry and berry sorbet CS.

Guest Designing for All That Scraps

Back again strutting my stuff this week as the Guest Designer for All That Scraps! Today I get to show you a couple of the newest images from the C.C. Designs February Release!

First up is Nymph Lucy

Such a sweet image! I stamped her in Momento tuxedo black ink and colored her with copics. I used a clear star Gelly Roll pen to add some shimmer to her wings and hint of shimmer to her hair. I cut her out with nestabilities and then left her in the die while I sponged a little A Muse Studio latte ink around the image. I added rhinestones to the centers flowers in her hair and hands. I created the flower with the MFT Die-Namics pretty posies die and some PTI harvest gold CS. I sponged the edges of the petals with some Inkadinkadoo fire orange dye ink and added a PTI orange zest button to the center. I also used the MFT Die-Namics Fancy Flouish on some PTI spring moss CS. That DSP is from the PTI Autumn Abundance paper pad.

Next up is Mushroom Girl

I think she is adorable! This time I started with a PTI aqua mist CS base and used some DSP from Fancy Pants Designs Winterland 6x6 paper pad. I added some PTI rope avocado saddle stitch ribbon nd some pearls. I colored the image with copics. I forgot to keep aside the copics I used to make the cards again! Sorry about that ! I need to get in the habit of putting them in a container so when I've used them so that I can take a pic of them when I am done!

Gather Love

I love my copics. I do. I am really trying to embrace my new Prismacolor Pencils though so I decided to do some practicing with them using some stamps from the There She Goes Clear Stamps Buckets of Love stamp set. LOVE that stamp set!

So, I love the way the barrel come out. I like the softness of it. I think it really looks like weathered wood, but I am sort of missing my copics when I look at the flowers. I think the flowers would have popped more had I used my copics. Think I am going to have to do more practicing with these pencils. I added some orange Stickles to the center of the flowers. The DSP is MME Everyday Flair and the CS is PTI white, harvest gold, terracotta tile, and spring rain. I added some natural jute / twine to complete the card.

Donkey. Love that word. I affectionately call those I love "donkey" on a regular basis. I have been on the hunt for a good donkey image and then I came across this cute one by Karen's Doodles called "Donkey Smiles." This image was a perfect for for this week's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge!

Whimsie Doodles Monthly Challenge - Oh, Scrap!

Welcome to the February Whimsie Doodles Challlenge ! This time we are challenging you to make a card out of scraps! The card base does not have to be scrap.

I decided to color up 80's Rock Lizzie from the February release of images for this challenge.

I colored her with copics and then matted the image with a scrap pf PTI pure poppy CS. I matted a scrap piece of paper from the PTI black and white collection with PT black CS. I used the new Sweet 'N Sassy Hearts Scalop Border die and I printed that sentiment from my computer.

Hey, all you sketch-a-holics out there! Did you hear about the newest weekly sketch challenge on the block called iSpy Sketches?! And you hear that I am on the DT?! Yep. Moi! I was personally invited by Kim Teasdale to be part of this. Yep. Kim Teasdale! She has reemerged into this wacky paper crafting world with her own sketch challenge! I cannot believe I am part of this crazy talented DT that she has put together to kick this whole thing off! If you missed the announcement of the DT, you can find it HERE. I must confess.....I cringed when I saw this sketch. Triangle?! Ick. However, I actually really like the way my card turned out! I started with a PTI kraft CS base and sponged some A Muse Studios french roast ink around the edges. I used DSP from the Jillibean Soup 6 Bean Homemade Soup 6x6 paper pad as well as PTI dark chocolate and vinatge cream CS. I added some faux stitching, some PTI dark chocolate buttons, some natural jute /twine, and some brown jute /twine. The sentiment and the image are from the PTI Baby Button Bits stamp set. I colored the bear with copics (E34, E33, E31, and E30) and added a PTI lemon tart button.

SNSDC40 - Hats Off to You

It's time for another Sweet 'N Sassy Digi Challenge and this week's theme is "Hats off to you!" I decided to use one of cute new digis called Celebrate!

I thought that DSP from the Kaiser Craft Bubblegum Hills 6x6 paper pad was perfect for this card. I paired it with some PTI raspberry fizz and new leaf CS. I love that new stars scallop border die by Sweet 'N Sassy stamps! I colored the kitty with copics and then added some dark pink vintage seam binding to embellish.

Paper and Such Release day and Blog Hop!

Hooray! Today is the Paper and Such release day! I've given you a couple of sneak peeks already. If you missed the, you can see them HERE and HERE. Today I will share one more card with you that I made using the new Daffodil set and the new Simple Sentiments sets.

Started with a PTI royal velvet CS card base and added some DSP from the the PTI Pacific Vineyard paper pad. I tied some natural jute /twine around the card and then popped up the PTI Mat Stack 3 die cut with foam dimensionals. I colored the daffodil with copics, cut it out and adhered it to the Mat stack. I layered the sentiment from the Simple Sentiment set over it.

All That Scraps "Anything Goes" Challenge

It's time for another All that Scraps Wednesday Challenge and we are easing into February with an easy one. It's an "Anything Goes" challenge! Your project must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps Store which carries so many different stamp companies that you are bound to have something in your stash that is sold in the store. If not, go shopping! Yes, it's ok. I've given you permission.

I love making Valentine's Day cards so before the day has come and gone,

I am making as many as possible. I decided to color up one the images from the

C.C. Designs December release called Cupig! Love that name!

I colored the image with copics (R85,R83, R81, R29, R24, R05, C01, C00) and added some shimmer to Cupig's wings and arrow with a clear spica pen. I left my image in the nesties and sponged some SU pretty in pink ink around the image. The DSP is from the Echo Park Yours Truly 6x6 paper pad. That is my favorite Valentine's Day paper out there this year. I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen to the black panel and added some ribbon and red pearls to embellish.

The Paper Shelter Challenge - Be my Valentine

I am making my big debut today as one of the Paper Shelter's newest DT members!

The theme for today's challenge is "Be My Valentine!"

I chose to use the "Kisses" image for this challenge. So sweet, isn't it? I colored the image with copics and matted it with PTI pure poppy CS and some DSP from the MME Everyday Flair 6x6 paper pad. I I added some PTI spring rain twill ribbon to the red panel and adhered it to the PTI white CS base. The sentiment and little hearts are from the PTI Tag Its #11 mini stamp set. It was the perfect addition to this card for the challenge!

Paper and Such Sneak Peek - Daffodil

February is here already and we are gearing up for another release of stamps over at Paper and Such! The official release day is February 9th, but I get to show you a sneak peek today with a card I made using the soon to be released Daffodil stamp set. Yep, flowers! Can't wait until winter is over so we can see some of these in real life again!

I decided to do use spotlighting technique with this card. There is a great tutorial on SCS that you can find HERE. I stamped the image on both PTI kraft CS and white CS. I used a circle nesties to cut out a portion of the image from the white CS and colored it with copics. I lined it up with the image on the kraft CS and adhered it. I matted the image panel with PTI black CS. I ran that black panel through my Big Shot with the SU square lattice embossing folder. The card base is PTI harvest gold CS. I love the font of that sentiment! I added a few small black rhinestones to embellish.

Back again as the All That Scraps Guest Designer

I have the honor of being the All That Scraps January / February Guest Designer! February has rolled around which means I can finally start showing off the images from the

C.C. Designs February release!

For my first card I am showing off Woodland Lucy and Woodland Daisy!

Isn't she sweet? I haven't colored a flower in what seems like forever! It was nice to bust out of the winter themed stuff to ink up this spring like combo of stamps! I paired the image with some DSP from the My Mind's Eye Everyday Flair. I added some PTI dark chocolate twill ribbon, little pearls on her shoes, and some Stickles to centers of the little flowers to embellish. Here are the copics I used:

Hair - E37, E35, E53, and E51

Skin - E11, E00, E000 and R20 and R30 for cheeks

Dress - B02, B00

Flower - YR18, YR15, YR12, YG17, YG13, YG11

Background - B0000

Next up is a card I made with 2 more new C.C. Design stamps from the February release called Pixie Lucy and Woodland Mushroom.

This time I started with a PTI kraft card stock and added a strip of SU DSP. I then added some yummy leather tan vintage seam binding. The sentiment is by Stamping Bella. I stamped the Woodland Mushroom image and cut it out with an oval nesties. I then sponged some A Muse Studios pebble ink around the image before removing it from the nesties. I stamped the Pixie Lucy image, colored her with copics, added some Gelly Roll Stardust clear ink to her outfit and wings, and popped her up with foam dimensionals. Here are the copics I used:

Skin - E11, E00, E000 and R20 and R30 for cheeks

Hair: E35, E53, and E51

Wings - C02, C01

Dress and stockings - Y08, Y04, Y02

Mushroom - R59, R29, E34, E33, E31, E30

The sentiment from the PTI Big Birthday wishes. Look at the cute acorn! That is one of the newest C.C. Cutter dies! I cut it out with PTI kraft, dark chocolate and ripe avocado CS. I used YG95 and YG93 to color the leave a bit.

I had to a wrap a gift today and had no intention of getting out of my pajamas to go and buy some wrapping paper. The only thing I had was a roll of kraft paper so pulled out my PTI goodies and went to work and I think it is SO much prettier that it would have been had I shlepped on down to CVS to pick up some wrapping paper!

It's here! Today is the day! It's Whimsie Doodles's release day of the February images! Melyssa Connolly did not disappoint with this collection of cuteness!

The new Pie Lizzie image just might be my favorite of the bunch.....I think.

Welcome to the weekend! Woot! Woot! It's time for another Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! I love making Valentine's Day cards and so I am sticking wit that for today's sketch challenge. I am using the Whimsie Doodles Cloud 9 Cupid to play along today.

I used some PTI pure poppy, black and white CS and paired it with some DSP from the MME Everyday Flair. I added some black licorice Divine Twine and button. The sentiment is from the PTI Tag Its #11 stamp set. I added some slitter to the tips of his wings. I colored the image with the following copics:

SNSDC39 - "Sea of Love"

It's time for another Sweet 'N Sassy Digi Challenge and this time the challenge is to create a Valentine's Day card. I decided to color up the Rhubarb's Heart digital stamp.

I started with a PTI pure poppy CS base. I chose DSP from the Bo Bunny Crazy Love Collection 6x6 paper pad. I used Nestabilities to cut out the center of the card and to make the border around it. I used the Taylored Expressions Wave Border die on PTI vintage cream CS and then I used the SU mini heart punch adaded some hearts floating in the "sea of love." I used the bow easy to make the bow out of the ivory vintage seam binding. I added a PTI pure poppy red button and tied a bow out of natural jute / burlap twine. Finally, i added some glitter to the crests of the waves.

Paper and Such Sneak Peek - My FAVORITE set!

Are you ready for a sneak peek at some serious cuteness?! The Paper and Such February release is not until February 9th, but I get to show you a card I made using oh-so-cute "You Lift Me" stamp set. This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE Paper and Such stamp set so far!

Eeeeeeeeeeek! Isn't she adorable?!?!? I have so many ideas in my head of things I can do with this stamp set, but I wanted to start off with a CAS design to let her shine. I started with a PTI spring rain CS base and used my corner chomper to trim to corner to add some interest. I colored the image with copics and paper pieced her dress. I used the Taylored Expresions Cloud Duo die with white felt and then stamped the sentiment in Momento Tuxedo black. LOVE!

Have I mentioned my addiction to vintage seam binding? This time I added some dark pink vintage seam binding from the Ribbon Carousel and topped the dcenter of the bow off with a little hot pink rhinestone. I added a rhinestone to the top gift box as well.

SSSC151 - Buckets of Love

I loved this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch so I had to play along. I just received my new Prismacolor Pencils in the mail today so I had to try them out. Yep. I stepped away from my beloved copics. I also had yet to ink up my newest There She Goes Buckets Of Love stamp set so tonight was the night!

Look at my shiny bucket! Oh boy! I had so much fun coloring with the Prismacolor Pencils! I LOVED blending it with the gamsol and seeing it come together! Think I am going to be doing some more coloring with these babies! I used pTI white, sweet blush, and aqua mist CS and paired it with some DSP from the MME Love Me 6x6 paper pad. I used a heart from the Sweet 'N Sassy heart die set and added a PTI sweet blush button to embellish.

Whew! Where did January go?! That flew by, didn't it? Hopefully the rest of the winter will, too. It's time for another Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge today. I bought this digi called "Hot Cocoa -A chilly Ragamuffin" from the Saturated Canary recently and I thought she would be perfect for this week's sketch challenge.

I started with a PTI sweet blush CS base. I used DSP from the Echo Park Yours Truly 6x6 paper pad. I love that MFT DIe-Namics icicle border die! Of course, I added some seam binding. LOVE that stuff. This is granite grey vintage seam binding from the Ribbon Carousel. The sentiment is from the PTI Warm Happiness Too stamp set. Here is the run down on the copics:

The Paper Shelter Challenge - Pearls and Swirls

Have you seen the sweet digi images at The Paper Shelter? If you like to color, you will love these images! I recently purchased a few more of their images so I was itching to color 'em up. I decided to play along with this week's Paper Shelter challenge. The theme is "Pearls and Swirls."

I used the adorable Spring Swing image and colored her with copics. The CS is PTI white, kraft, and dark chocolate. The pink and blue CS is from a Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit that I had. I added some pink salmon vintage seam binding. I used the MFT Die-Namics pretty posies and fancy flourish. I cut out the little birdie and popped it up with a foam dimensional and then added some pearls to the swirls.

RCC37 and Paper and Such Challenge COMBINED!

Well, today is a fun day for me because my worlds are colliding! I am proudly designing for both the Ribbon Carousel AND Paper and Such this week. It's a joint challenge! Paper and Such is sponsoring the Ribbon Carousel challenge!

Suzanne is challenging us to use NON-Traditional colors for our creations. Making a valentine card? How about NOT using red or pink, or not too much of it anyways? Creating a gorgeous winter scene? Try it with creams instead of whites. Whatever you’re making….try a non-traditional palate as a challenge!

I decided to do a Valentine's Day card in non-traditional colors using the Paper and Such Wild Rose stamp set :

I used one of the stamps to create some DSP and I colored in the flowers with copics using Y21, YR23, and the leaves with YG97, YG95, and YG93. I stamped the sentiment from the Wild Rose stamps set in Momento tuxedo black ink. The CS is PTI harvest gold, black, and white. I added some yummy black vintage seam binding from the Ribbon Carousel. I added a few black rhinestones to the centers of the flowers and to the bottom corer of the cards for some bling.

Guest Designing for All That Scraps

Another Monday brings around another chance for me to strut my stuff with some C.C. Designs goodies from the January release at All that Scraps! Today I am want to show off a fun little tag I made using the C.C. Designs Moo-valous rubber stamp.

I started with a PTI black CS tag base. That fun DSP is from the Echo Park Yours Truly 6x6 paper pad. I stamped the sentiment on PTI pure poppy CS with Momento tuxedo black ink. I colored the cow with copics. I've been asking to list what copics I've used so:

Hat: R29, R24, and R05
Body: C07, C05, C03, C01, C00
Cheeks: R30

I added some ribbon I found at Michael's and tied some baker's twine to secure it.

Next up is a card that has made an appearance here on my blog a couple of weeks ago since I made it to play along with a sketch challenge. I used the new

C.C. Designs Cupcake die and the C.C. Designs Party Time Logos stamp set!

I stamped the logo twice on PTI white CS and twice on PTI hibiscus burst CS. I cut out the centers of the hibiscus burst logos and layered them onto the white logos and then used a 1.5" circle punch to cut them out. I used DSP from theBo Bunny Sweet Tooth 6x6 paper pad. Perfect for chocolate frosting with sprinkles! I added a button with some Twinery blossom light pink baker's twine. The sentiment is from the PTI Birthday Basics stamp set. The card base is PTI dark chocolate CS.

SSS142 - Non-traditional Valentine

Happy weekend, everyone! For this week's Sweet Stop Sketch challenge, we are challenging you to make a non-traditional Valentine. I have to admit.....I found this to be tricky particularly since there are so many cute Valentine's Day papers around now yet they are all in traditional colors. Then I remembered that I had this super cute Birdie Brown digital stamp called "A boy with a rose."

I colored him up with copics and here's the run down on what I used:

Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20 and R30 for cheeks

Hair: E35, E53, E51

Hat and stripes on shirt: B37, B45, B41

Shirt: B00 and B0000

Shorts: E34, E31, and E30

Shoes: E59, E57, E55

Rose: R29, R24, R05, YG17, YG13, YG11

Shadow: BG10

I sponged some A Muse latte ink around the image. Have you tried those inks yet? Love them! I used PTI white, kraft, spring rain, dark chocolate and vintage cream CS and the DSP is from the Jillibean Soup Homemade 6 Bean Soup 6x6 paper pad. That pretty ribbon is is 5/8" brown/white grosgrain two tone ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel. I used the PTI Tiny Tags stamped set to make that heart and I stamped it with A Muse french roast ink.

HA! As soon as I saw this image I tried to "call it" as the one I would use in this challenge before any of the other DT memebers did. I was successful. ;) I had this vision in my head of adding some pretty DSP to the wall behind the kitty for wall paper. I used DSP from Echo Park's Yours Truly 6x6 paper pad. Here's another view so that you can see the the easel card.

Whimsie Doodles has released so many cute images this month! Today I am showing you a card I made with the newly released Cupid's Arrow.

Let me start by saying that CS,DSP, and ribbon are from Taylored Expression Key Ingredients kits taht I received over the past 6 months. I didn't do a good job off keeping the separate from one another so I have no idea what the sane of the CS or DSP is. Sorry about that. I colored the image with copics and stamped the sentiment from the SU Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set into a die cut from the MFT Die-Namics Mini Tabs Quartet. I used my favorite MFT Die-Namics called Pretty Posies to make the flower. I inked the edges of the petals with SU pixie pink ink and I added a pearl to the center. I made a couple of loops with the ribbon to make the leaves.

All That Scraps Wednesday challenge - Color challenge!

It's time for another All That Scraps Challenge and this time it is a color challenge! We are challenging you to use blue, brown, and tan as your main colors. This gave me another chance to ink up one of my favorite stamps from the newest release of C.C. Designs stamps called Moo-valous! I am slightly obsessed with this cute little dancing cow!

I colored that cute cow up with copics, paper pieced his hat with some PTI enchanted evening CS. I used the SU top note die with PTI spring rain, dark chocolate, vintage cream, and fine linen CS. I used the SU polka dot background stamp and stamped the dots on the fine linen section of the top note. I popped the cow up foam dimensionals and stamped the Verve Happy Birthday sentiment in SU early espresso ink.

Our fabulous Crewmate Danielle Lounds was gracious enough to share her “Go To Sketches” with us, so you’ll see them throughout the year. This is a fabulous sketch to use with the images provided by our fabulous sponsor this week….

Lately I've been getting questions from some blog followers about which Copics I used to color my images so starting with this post, I am going to try and remember to list them in my supply list. So, here goes:

Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20 for cheeks

Eyes: B45 and B41

Hair: E35. E34, and YR20

Dress and shoes: RV13, RV11, RV10

Wand: C9 and YR23

I added some shimmer to her wings, dress, and shoes with a clear star Gelly Roll pen. I added pink rhinestones to her shoes. I stamped the kraft panel with a background stamp from the PTI Background Basics: Diamond in VersaMark ink and then used a white gel pen to color in the centers of the designs. I used PTI sweet blush, white, kraft, and hibiscus burst CS. Finally, I added some 3/8" pink swiss dot satin ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.

All That Scraps - I'm the Guest Designer

I am absolutely loving my guest designer spot for this month and next month with All That Scraps blog! Today I get to show you a couple more cards that I have made with stamps from the C.C. Designs January release!

First up is a tent card I made using the Moo-valous stamp set.

I started with a PTI pure poppy CS base. I used DSP from one of the October Afternoon 8x8 paper pads. The cover is missing so I have no clue from which one it belongs. I used circle nesties to cut out the center of the card and to make a ring for around the opening. I used the Sizzex stars dies and adhered them around the edge of the opening. I colored that cute cow with copics. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the PTI Birthday Wishes stamp set on the inside of the card.

Next up is Monkey Zoo which comes with one image and one sentiment:

I colored the image with copics and did some paper piecing on the present and hat. I stamped the PTI vintage cream panel with some musical notes from the PTI Background Basics: Sheet Music stamp set in SU crumb cake ink. I stamped the sentiment from the PTI Birthday Basics stamp set onto a piece of PTI simply chartreuse CS and then popped the image up over it with foam dimensionals. The DSP is from the Jillibean Soup Homemade 6 Bean Soup 6x6 mini pad.
